Our Story
" Leadership can come from anywhere. You don't have to be a certain type of person or have a certain type of education to be a leader. You just have to be willing to throw yourself in the fight. That's all it takes!!"
Sometimes we are thrown in the fight as a result of circumstances in our lives. I Janee Dailey a mother of Five beautiful Angels, developed a passion for wounded, brokenhearted, and the forgotten of our world due to my firsthand experience with domestic violence and as a result my kids and I found ourselves homeless without anything but one another. This is where it all began. I know what it feels like to be judged treated unkindly due to my circumstances I found myself so far disconnected from the community I was previously apart of. Through this journey I discovered that our world is desperately lacking Empathy, Kindness, and Love. I made a vow that when I got out of this vicious-cycle and stable I would do everything in my power to set out on a mission to specifically touch the lives of the wounded and brokenhearted impacting not just those individuals but the community as well and making a positive change. About Us
Restore- Return to it's original or usable and functioning condition.
Return to life;get or give new life and energy. Restore by replacing a part or putting together what is torn or broken.
Restoration is more than mending broken hearts and bringing closure to a sad chapter in life. We all go through periods of valley lows in life, some of us are able to be very resilient and can weather the storm and bounce back, but, some of us have a very difficult time surviving the storm. With empathy and kindness we can change the outcome of the journey into a positive learning experience.
Gently Restored desires to empower members of our community dealing with issues of poverty, homelessness, and domestic violence.

Empathy has decreased by 40% and narcissism has increased by 58% over the past three decades. Why is teaching kids empathy important? Empathy boosts resilience.
